 Grandma’s House

Our ‘Donbass Humanitarian Aid’ Fund announces a fundraising for the renovation of grandmother Olga’s house, where she lives with six underage grandchildren in the village of Khanzhenkovo, DPR. Their mother has died. Not only is it very difficult for the grandmother and children to survive against the backdrop of the ongoing war, but the house needs a lot of repairs. The building is a former kindergarten, will continue to deteriorate if not renovated. We really want children to grow up not in a depressed environment, but in a full-fledged cozy house in warmth, cleanliness and order with all the comfortable conditions for their life and development. We received the first donation of $200 from some of the youngest parishioners of the Russian Orthodox Church in Florida, Roma and Anya (aged 7 and 4). These funds have already been used to renovate the kitchen-watch our video report here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuU2oEog2V4&t=2s

Join us! And it will be easier for the grandmother knowing that her innocent grandchildren are surrounded not only by her care, but also by many caring people in such a big business as renovating the house for the children!

Big renovation for a large family

We are starting a new humanitarian project. Mom Julia and her six minor children live in the village of Novobeshevo, DPR. Fierce fighting took place not far from this place in 2014. Due to the shaking of the earth from the explosions of shells, cracks appeared in the house. The family was forced to leave for a long time, fleeing the war. The house has not been heated for three years. And when Julia and her children came back, big cracks started throughout the house, and now it is simply in disrepair. It is necessary to purchase building materials for restoration work inside and outside the house. Join us! Donations can be made on our website

CAR FOR DELIVERY- Successfully completed

We have been working in the Donbass region since 2015 to help victims of the ongoing conflict there. We provide food, medicine, clothing and school supplies, as well as other material support to schools, orphanages, hospitals and other organizations. We also distribute aid directly to those in need throughout the Donbass region.
This fund-raiser is for a car and trailеr to deliver goods to where they are needed. We currently have 2 representatives who live and work in Donetsk. They are both experienced and competent human aid workers, with a long history of successful projects with Donbass Human Aid as well as in cooperation with other humanitarian groups operating in the region.
We are looking to raise $3,500.The need is great, and Donbass human Aid has a proven track record of delivering the goods to where they are needed most, and for getting the most “bang for the buck” from our donations.
Please help us to help others by contributing to this fund-raiser. Thanks for your support!

“Harmony” Kindergarten Window Project – Successfully completed :See Here

The “Harmony” kindergarten in the Kievsky District in Donetsk had over 250 young students before the war. In the summer of 2014, it was hit by Grad rockets and heavy artillery. The school was damaged and closed due to the danger of future attacks. Indeed, the school has been closed now for almost 2 years. Though the danger of further attacks has diminished, the school remains closed due to damages. About 250 windows were broken, and must be replaced before the school can re-open. This will be one of our next projects. 250 windows for 250 students.

Our representative and construction specialists went to the school and surveyed the damage. The school sustained a direct hit from a powerful Grad rocket and several hits from heavy artillery, but the damage is reparable, and we decided to help. We contacted several window manufacturers who gave us estimates for repairs of the windows. The school had high quality double panned plastic frame windows, and that is what we need to replace. Amazingly, these windows can be manufactured and installed for about $30 each. So the entire cost of this project is around $7,500. It seems like a small sum to bring 250 young students back to school.

If we can find 250 supporters to donate $30 each, (or 30 to donate $250 each) we can have all the windows repaired in about one month. The Harmony Kindergarten is a great school with loving and dedicated teachers. Let’s all pitch in and help bring the kids back to school!
